Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council: PEACEPLUS PROGRAMME Community Advantage Programme
Overview
In its role as lead partner, Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council wishes to invite Expressions of Interest under the PEACEPLUS Community Regeneration & Transformation Capital Programme. The Community Advantage Programme aims to create investment in local capital projects (projects to construct either new facilities or improvements to existing facilities) across the Borough. The programme will be delivered via an Expression of Interest method.
Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council will lead the process from the design stage to development of share space and facilities (ending with encouraging cross community usage, which is the essence of a shared space) such as:
- Reimaging projects
- Collaboration for re-imaging projects
- Shared Spaces and Shared Facilities
- Supporting usage of Shared Spaces and Facilities
Examples of eligible works are as follows, but not limited to:
- Renovation works to accommodate enhancement.
- Construction of new facilities.
- Renovations and/or sub-divisions to premises to allow for multiple usages.
- Conservation and/or heritage capital projects.
Funding
The Community Advantage Programme has an approximate budget of £1,000,000.
It is anticipated that the Programme will support a minimum of 2 and maximum of 5 projects. The request for funding within an application should be a minimum of £200,000 and up to a maximum of £400,000.
Any costs incurred on a project before confirmation of funding support from this programme will not be eligible for claiming.
The Capital Projects must be completed by end of April 2027.
Where match funding is or will be required for the development of the project, this funding must be secured at the time of application for this programme. Evidence of the match funding must be provided with the Expression of Interest application.
