Overview
Capital and revenue grants averaging £1,000 for UK registered charities working in the UK and/or overseas in the areas of disability, medical research, penal reform, respite for carers, social welfare and water projects in the developing world.
The charity's objects are particularly focused on:
- Water projects in the developing world,
- Disability: particularly mobility, access, helplines and communications
- Social welfare: inner city community projects, disaffected youth, family mediation, homelessness,personal reform,
- Penal reform: work with prisoners, especially young prisoners and their families
- Medical research and aid: especially in areas of blindness and disfigurement,
- Individual enterprise: by helping Raleigh International and similar organisations to give opportunities to young people according to need
- Respite for carers
- General charitable purposes
